A co-founder and Principal of Thomas & Company, Susan manages the
firm's Executive Consulting and Business Skills practices. Holder of a masters degree,
Susan is a highly sought-after speaker because of her platform skills and business savvy.
She is a former operations executive for the now Sodexho-Marriott Corporation and managed
two hundred personnel with P & L responsibility for the company's top region.
This executive experience and prior corporate HR responsibilities make her a valuable
executive coach to her national client base.
Additionally, she has extraordinary business skills in negotiation, influence,
presentations, major account management, team selling, and organizational development. Her
ability to develop others has brought her internationally to corporations such as Union
Camp, Union Carbide, Sodexho, Met Life, and Dunlop.
Susan was division training manager for a worldwide contract management services
company, where she completed corporate executive programs in organizational development.
She has assessed position competencies and developed programs to address skills gaps. As a
headquarters manager, she supported the field through needs analysis, design, development
and delivery of employee training programs.
Susan lives with her husband Wayne and daughters Kathryn and Emily in Sudbury, Massachusetts. She is
active in her church, enjoys canoeing on Walden Pond, and loves to hike the White
Mountains.
